The Simpsons TV show have always enjoyed making fun of convention, tech society specifically at moments, and even Apple directly, but there’s a clip floating around courtesy of Gizmodo that takes it to new heights.

It’s actually really funny, if a little venomous at moments towards Steve Jobs. They lampoon Apple’s “sterile” reputation
in their stores, their older advertising, and its rep as being popular among geeks. They conveniently add “My” as the prefix to all their creations. It isn’t ground-breaking stuff, but the humor is pretty pointed and dead-on in spots. Some great lines.

What's your opinion?
I love the Simpsons, and I love Apple, its too bad that the Youtube video didnt work when you embedded it, oh well, nice post anyway. By the way, I like your blog, very focused topic, nice work!
It looks like it has been taken down. I’ve updated the post to a different video but don’t be surprised if that gates taken down as well.
It’s still there, the above link just isn’t available. Go to http://www.youtube.com and type in ‘Simpsons Apple’ and it’ll come up … just watched it, very humorous!
south park is well better at doing this sort of stuff. the simpsons didnt really make fun of the ipod stuff anyway
Love it…but still I will buy the next apple product to hit the sterile streets LOL
