/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppSupport.framework/PhoneNumberTemplates.plist and /System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/PhoneFormats/UIPhoneFormats.plist and has to be edited to meet your needs. For that you'd have to jailbreak your iPhone 3G (as I did, see my signature) and check the forum for a solution fo Cyprus.

I'm also in Cyprus.
I had the problem of caller ID not working on a non-jailbroken 3G. The only way I could get it working was to select UK in the International formatting settings, which has an 11 digit number length. I then added +357 to all my contact numbers. ie +357 99****** making it 11 digits long and my caller ID works :-) Regards Jason |

I was under the impression one of these files has been changed to some binary format. I've tried to use CallerID Fix package from installer, but it did not help. Any ideas? |

Guys, so the only way to fix your problem is to jailbrake your iPhone and to install latest CallerID Fix Collection.
I suggest to use quickpwn since is faster and then you can find the fix in both Cydia and Installer! I just fixed mine one hour ago! It is so good when you see who is calling!

version 1.1.0 didn't work in Israel.
Meantime HebDev team (which provides free hebrew support) released the 2.1 version which also solves this. |
