have 400 contacts.
Many are duplicates how did that happen no idea. only need to have like 40 numbers on my iphone but cant figure out a smart way to do this. I have tried both google and yahoo contacts sync. i.e. go to Yahoo remove all the garbage I dont need but when I sync the garbage is back. How would one remove all contacts from the phone in one go. Then edit the contacts in yahoo to only have the ones required and then sync ? Is there an app or one button deal to remove all contacts ? (Yes I did try a search got 24 pages but no clear answer). |

You could use sync to outlook, then outlook to Plaxo, and use dup removal function of plaxo, then sync back to the phone.

In iTunes when you connect the iPhone you will be at the sync settings "Info". Scroll all the way down and select to replace the addresses on the iPhone with the ones you want to use as a source (Yahoo). Hope that helps
