Pwnage Tool 2.0.3.1 Released to Jailbreak iPhone firmware 2.0.2
The iPhone Dev Team had released an updated version of the QuickPwn tool to jailbreak iPhone running firmware 2.0, 2.0.1 and also 2.0.2. However, it was only available for Windows users.
As promised they have released an updated version of their Pwnage Tool v2.0.3.1 for Mac users which now supports iPhone firmware 2.0.2.
The latest version of the Pwnage Tool also includes the updated version of Installer app (beta).
iPhone Dev Team's Pwnage Tool can jailbreak and unlock the first generation iPhone running either firmware 1.1.4 or 1.1.5 or 2.x including iPhone firmware 2.0.1 and 2.0.2 that was released by Apple early last week.
It also can jailbreak iPhone 3G running iPhone firmware 2.0, 2.0.1 or 2.0.2 but cannot unlock iPhone 3G as of now. The iPhone Dev Team did not have anything significant to report on unlocking iPhone 3G front.
They have added German language localization in v2.0.3.1. French, Hungarian and Russian language localizations were added in the previous version of the Pwnage Tool.
iPhone Dev Team had earlier released Pwnage Tool 2.0.3, however some iPod Touch users had faced issues with it as the keychain was not saving passwords due to incorrect permissions during certain conditions so they immediately released Pwnage Tool 2.0.3.1 to fix those issues.
The Pwnage Tool is only for Mac users, if you are a Windows user, you can check out the QuickPwn tool that was released last week which makes it easier and quicker to jailbreak iPhone.
You can download Pwnage Tool 2.0.3.1 (file size: 17.1 MB) from this link. If you already have Pwnage installed on your Mac then the update should be available via Sparkle.

What next?
Did the upgrade to 2.0.2 last night and pwned it with latest version of QuickPwn. Went without an issue and new firmware has fixed many of my problems like the damn delayed typing while sending an SMS or the slow response in Contacts... Bring on Firmware 2.1!

while successful with jailbreak...
Mail is not working
Maps / GPS is not working
